Special Shout Out:

We want to give a special shout out and congratulations to Dylan Kasselbaum for winning the 2024 Heroclix World Championships in Memphis, Tennessee! There were over 200 players at the competition. Dylan plays at Dragon’s Hoard as well as other great stores in the area that support the Heroclix community. This is a great win for us all!

Duskmourn: House of Horror- Top 10 Cards to Watch

The upcoming Duskmourn set introduces 280 new cards to Magic: The Gathering, featuring a wide range of power levels and mechanics that will impact many formats. Cards like Demonic Counsel and Rite of the Moth bring powerful tutoring and reanimation abilities, with Demonic Counsel allowing for searches once delirium is triggered. Meanwhile, Leyline of Mutation and Leyline of Resonance provide flexible multicolor and spell-doubling capabilities, respectively, making them exciting additions to Commander and Standard decks alike.

Other standout cards include Split Up, a three-mana modal board wipe, and Abhorren Oculus, which leverages your opponent's dread while offering reanimation synergy. Kona, Rescue Beastie lets players cheat large permanents into play, while Unwanted Remake provides efficient removal with only a slight drawback. Unidentified Hovership acts as repeatable removal in the form of a vehicle, and the new Verge Lands bring versatile dual lands to the game, fitting seamlessly into multicolor strategies.

Duskmourn is shaping up to be a set filled with game-changing mechanics, making it a must-play for Magic fans across all formats. Whether you're into fast-paced aggro, controlling reanimator decks, or simply expanding your collection with powerful new cards, the Duskmourn set offers a diverse range of tools that are sure to leave a lasting impact on the game.
