Duskmourn: House of Horror- How To Play The Mindskinner Commander Deck

The Mindskinner is a powerful mono-blue commander introduced in Magic: The Gathering's Duskmourn set, specializing in mill strategies. Unlike traditional mill tactics focusing on spells, The Mindskinner deals combat damage by forcing opponents to send cards directly from their library to the graveyard. The deck revolves around copying The Mindskinner using cards like Auton Soldier and Spark Double to amplify its mill effects. Supporting cards like Bruvac, the Grandiloquent, and Court of Cunning further enhance the deck's ability to deplete an opponent's library rapidly.

Despite its low mana curve, the deck lacks strong defenses, making cards like Propaganda and Silent Arbiter essential for protection. The Mindskinner's main win condition is milling all of an opponent’s cards, and noncreature spells like Cut Your Losses and Maddening Cacophony help accelerate this process. Additionally, counterspells like Arcane Denial ensure that crucial permanents and milling tools remain protected, preventing opponents from disrupting the strategy.

Overall, the Mindskinner Commander deck capitalizes on consistency through combat damage and card duplication, while incorporating various mill-supporting permanents and spells. With effective stax pieces and counterspells for defense, the deck can overwhelm opponents by quickly depleting their libraries and securing victory through mill tactics.
